In partnership with the Brazilian branch of the North American non-profit entity Helen Keller Worldwide, Pro-Natura helps to organize and implement campaigns for the eradication of cataracts among the elderly and the prevention of infantile blindness, involving local volunteers and financial support from companies in municipalities throughout Brazil.

A "Child Sight" project is underway in the municipalities of São Fidélis and Santa Maria Madalena, located in the buffer zone of the Desengano State Park in Rio de Janeiro state, where Pro-Natura executes the "Cordão de Mata" project.
